This lotion is different because it’s a product of many years of frustrations from a long struggle with an excruciatingly dry and chronically painful skin condition. Because of this, this lotion is carefully formulated to deliver intense, long-lasting moisture that is capable of not only moisturizing but also keeping the driest of skins hydrated and comfortable without needing another application.
It is thick and creamy but also feels light on your skin. It is non-greasy so there is no feeling of ickiness.
Additionally, it is handmade without harsh chemicals.
Naturally, the skin goes through cycles whereby old skin cells and are removed and replaced with new ones. For people with extremely dry skin conditions, the process is a lot slower, and instead of the old skin cells falling off by themselves, they hang on for a lot longer until they are physically or chemically removed (exfoliated). This is why dry skin feels rough.
Old, dry skin cells make it harder for most moisturizers to penetrate deeper into the skin. The unique ability of this body moisturizer to penetrate fast into your skin, and hold moisture for an extended period of time, makes it one of the best body lotions you’ll ever use. Once the lotion has penetrated the skin, it locks in moisture and the lactic acid (alpha hydroxy acid) goes to work. It gently but gradually exfoliates dry, hardened, and flaky skin exposing the softer, smoother skin underneath. This process leaves your skin feeling soft.
In order to keep this newer, softer skin feeling and looking good, it needs to be protected with intense long-lasting moisture as well as hydration and this is what this lotion does for your skin.
Lactic is a very gentle exfoliant and most skin types can use it without adverse reactions. Because of the gentleness of lactic acid, you can use this aha lotion daily. Consequently, this gives lactic acid and other ingredients such as niacinamide, in this lotion, extended contact with your skin, and as a result, your skin will experience daily improvement.
Lactic acid is naturally found in the skin as one of the Natural Moisturizing Factors (NMF). What’s more, lactic acid increases the water-holding capacity of the skin which in turn increases skin hydration and skin turgor.
Not only does it decrease the rough texture of the skin by gentle exfoliation, but also increases collagen production which is essential for skin structure integrity.

This lotion is handmade in small batches for high quality. I use only natural and safe ingredients which are free from:
- Parabens
- Phthalates
- Petroleum
- lanolin
- Formaldehydes
- Oxybenzone
- Artificial Colors
- Synthetic Fragrance
Always start with clean skin. Cleanse your skin with a gentle or mild soap. This helps to thoroughly remove surface dirt, dead skin, built-up oils, grime, and toxins. If your skin is not clean, the lotion will NOT penetrate properly. Moreover, applying lotion to dirty skin will not be a pleasant experience.
Apply to slightly damp skin. The extra moisture on your skin helps transport the lotion and seal it in.
To apply: Scoop out a small amount with your finger. Rub together in the palms of your hands and apply evenly to your skin. repeat as needed.
If you have never used lactic acid lotion before, start out with our 10% strength lotion or our 15% strength. This lotion (20% Lactic Acid) is ideal for any adult who’s used lactic acid lotions before or Ahas in general. If you have extremely dry, flaky, and even dull skin, this lotion will help with the extra exfoliation your skin might need. The acidity level on this lotion is pretty high and is the maximum recommended strength for a leave-on lotion.
Even though this body moisturizer brightens skin, it is not a skin whitener. Therefore, if you are looking for a skin-whitening solution, this may not work for you. The exfoliation only exposes the skin color that’s already naturally yours.
Sometimes your skin may need a break from the acid and in that case, you can alternate with this other lotion. It will keep your skin feeling moist and comfortable all day.
This lotion might work on your feet also, however, if your feet are really dry, hardened, and cracked, this foot cream will work wonders on your feet. Check it out.

I wanted to use this for a while before leaving a review and I can say that I really like this lotion! It leaves my skin soft, moisturized, and has slowly helped to improve my overall tone. I also would like to thank Grace for the handwritten message; I truly appreciate it.

I greatly appreciate the personal handwritten note from Grace with instructions for use! This product smells surprisingly GREAT, like a mango smoothie. Much better than drugstore treatments. This lotion is a bit sticky and tingles on application, so I use small amounts. A little goes a long way. I have not had adverse reactions and will keep using as my primary KP treatment. Thank you, Grace!
I wish I could leave more then 5 starts. I am not new to aha I have used them all you name it I have used it. This is by far the best I have used. In just 7 days this lotion is softening and making my skin glow like no other. And the store owner is probably the best sell person I have come across. She is truly amazing.

Really awesome lotion! Does not feel greasy. It has really helped to reduce my keratosis pilaris on my arms within a couple days of using it. Hopefully with some time it will lighten my tan a bit. Definitely will repurchase!
